We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Scotland to complement our existing team.

Purpose: Develop sales within the territory across both the wholesale and retail channels on a direct and indirect basis. Develop commercial relationships via strategic territory management, selling skills and gap analysis to maximise the commercial return in the short, medium and long term across all brands. Deliver agreed operational standards and achieve the territory targets and budgets on contribution, volume, revenue, distribution and market penetration.

Experience:

  • Territory sales management desirable but not essential.
  • May suit graduate or someone looking to gain industry experience
  • Structured call standards in all customer meetings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Presents with impact; prepares key messages and embeds as part of the presentation.
  • Ability to adopt and tailor presentations into individual customer propositions.
  • Category/brand knowledge across all segments.
  • Extensive travel required – develop effective journey plans.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  •  Demonstrate flexibility which includes open and trade days whilst showing reliability and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Take full accountability for all decisions and how they impact the company.
